Daily Missions

Rotating daily objectives that bring members back every day: what they are and how to turn them on.

Daily missions give each member a small, rotating checklist of objectives that refreshes every day: complete a quest, check in, open a box, earn some coins. They're a lightweight retention loop: a reason to come back tomorrow, and the day after. Progress ticks automatically from what members already do, and finishing a mission awards a reward.

Missions reward XP, and coins where enabled

Mission rewards always grant XP. If your coin economy is enabled, missions can also award coins. On a project without currency, the coin part is simply skipped and members still get the XP.

What members see

When daily missions are on, a member gets a rotating set of objectives on their home screen plus a dedicated Missions view. The objectives are drawn and rotated for you, so members don't all get the same list forever, which keeps the loop fresh. Progress on each mission advances as members complete quests, check in, open boxes, or earn coins; finishing one pays out its reward.

Turning daily missions on

Daily missions ship off by default, and they're enabled at the project level by Onsend. There's no per-mission editor or content tool in the dashboard. Reach out to your Onsend contact or email support@onsend.com to switch daily missions on for your project. Once enabled, the missions surface appears for your members automatically and the rotation runs itself.

No setup beyond enabling

You don't author individual missions or schedule rotations. The objective set and its daily refresh are handled for you. Enabling the feature is the only step.

Tips

  • Pair it with the coin economy. Missions land hardest when finishing one drops coins members can spend in your shop: the daily loop feeds the spend loop.
  • Lean on your existing quests. Mission progress is driven by the quests, check-ins and boxes you already run, so a richer campaign makes for richer missions with no extra work.
